David Silipigno is a successful entrepreneur and philanthropist from Saratoga County. He is also known for his humanitarian deeds and charities done for the improving the living standards of poor children. For this purpose, David Silipigno founded an organization named David B. Silipigno Foundation. This organization works for creating an environment which is full of possibility and positive approach for the children to do better. It provides them the required emotional and social support.
David Silipigno started working at a very young age. He ventured into business when he was 19, and by the time he reached his mid 20's, he had more than 600 employees working for him. National Financial Corp (NFC) was his first business venture, and it provided great employment opportunities to the youth. David Silipigno is also the founder and/or consultant of five area businesses, Principal Commercial, First Guarantee Mortgage, Industry Partners Title, Saratoga Venture Capital and Saratoga Studios. He is one of those few people who introduced the call centre approach towards business.
Though he has a very busy schedule, he ensures his presence in almost all the charitable events organized in the Saratoga County and nearby areas. His foundation provides athletic and educational service programs to the underprivileged children to encourage them to do better. This foundation also provides funds to other trusts who are working for social cause. David Silipigno has funded organizations like Arthritis Foundation Saratoga Center for Family, YMCA of Saratoga, Catholic Charities, Mental Health Foundation, and many more.
David Silipigno has been constantly working for the betterment of at-risk children and because of his contribution to society; he has been honored several times. He received the honor of “The Spirit of Service” on March 7, 2009 by John and Christine Colley who previously chaired the Arthritis Foundation.
