David Silipigno-Working Hard To Improve The Living Standards Of Needy Children

David Silipigno is well-known businessman from Saratoga County. He is the founder of David B. Silipigno Foundation. This foundation works for the betterment of at-risk children. He is known for his humanitarian deeds and charity in the Saratoga Springs. David Silipigno was born in Boston, Massachusetts and was bought up in Clifton Park, NY, and he studied from Shenendehowa High School and Albany University.

David Silipigno started his business as an entrepreneur at the young age of nineteen and by the time he reached his mid 20's, he had more than 600 of employees working for him. He believes that hard work is what is needed to succeed, and because of his determination and hard work, he has achieved desired success in every business he ventured into. He gives his credit of success to his dedicated and committed staff. He has been constantly providing vast opportunities of employment in and around the areas of Saratoga County. He is also the founder and/or consultant of five business areas which are First Guarantee Mortgage, Saratoga Venture Capital, The Principal Commercial, Industry Partners Title and Saratoga Studios.

The David B. Silipigno Foundation provides emotional and social support to the children who are deprived from basic necessities of life. It also provides annual funds to various other organizations which support such poor and needy children. It has funded certain events which include The Future's Tournament, LARK Fest, PAWS For a Cause, 2007 Albany Tulip Festival and many more.

David Silipigno has been honored many times for his outstanding services to the community. He was honored with "The Spirit of Service" award on March 7, 2009. This honor was bestowed upon him by John and Christine Colley who previously chaired The Arthritis Foundation. David Silipigno donated $775,000 for a new facility to the Albany Academy for Girls.
